3 Kava Smoothie Recipes for Summer

Australian summers call for cold drinks, and kava smoothies are one of the best ways to enjoy your daily shell when the temperature rises. Here are three of our favourite recipes using House of Kava Instant blend.

Tropical Calm: Blend 2 tablespoons of instant kava with 1 frozen banana, half a cup of frozen mango, a splash of coconut milk, and a drizzle of honey. The sweetness of the tropical fruits balances the earthy kava flavour beautifully.

Green Serenity: Combine 2 tablespoons of instant kava with a handful of baby spinach, half an avocado, 1 frozen banana, a squeeze of lime, and cold water or almond milk. Rich, creamy, and packed with nutrients -- this one is a favourite for post-workout recovery.

Berry Bliss: Blend 2 tablespoons of instant kava with a cup of mixed frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries), a tablespoon of Greek yoghurt, and a splash of oat milk. The tartness of the berries works surprisingly well with kava's earthy undertones.
